The serious discussion about the 'biggest' and 'quality' fish awards!

Over the Christmas break a few of the A.B.F.T members and friends gathered at the Cronin residence for a small 'function' on christmas eve. After a few drinks and an official invite from C.E.O Trent Kirk, it was decided that the group would venture to the Kirk families Baffle retreat on Boxing day to wind down with abit of fishing, prawning and heaps of boozing.

In attendence was members Kirky, Jimmy, Tezza, Cronin, Fixo, as well as a Kirkys better half, Michelle and another close friend and folower of the A.B.F.T, Teneille.

The day started off with a few of the boys enjoying a couple of quiet breakfast beers at 6.30am with the girls not far behind dominating Malibu and Pineapples at a healthy hour of 10am. (Love ya work girls!)

Much of the rest of the day was spent endulging in some of Mr and Mrs Kirks finest cooking, with prawns, ham and heaps of other goodies being dished up, before a quick session on the water chasing prawns and fish in the afternoon. (Not to much avail).

After a quick trip to the thriving motropolis of Rosedale to grab some more booze and another awesome feed courtesy of the Kirks, the drinking began to get abit more serious as did the banter between A.B.F.T teams regarding the much sought after 'Biggest fish' and 'Quality fish' awards.

Later in the night, mother nature played its part with pooring rain forcing the crew to abandon thier expertly erected tarp and move location to the Fixter residence which saw Jimmy and Fixo the last men standing (or sitting in their jocks) around 3am under the non-existant stars and drizzling rain.

Much thanks has to go to Mr and Mrs Kirk for their hospitality in providing such awesome food and putting up with the crew and also to Chriso Fixter for providing the beds!
